CNC Machine Set Up/Operator

Your responsibilities as a CNC Machine Set Up/Operator include the ability to:

• Ability to effectively communicate with the Machine Shop Team/Management
• Participate in cross training across other machines
• Edit programs for CNC Lathe and Mill
• Set up and run newly designed engineering parts on lathes and mills
• Spec tooling required for new parts and process improvement projects
• Meet or exceed production output goals
• Ensure quality of all machined parts
• Maintain production and quality records
• Make complex parts with close tolerances
• Capable of running one or more machines
• Set up and operate Doosan Lynx with live tooling and DNM 500HS with Fanuc controls
• Manage inventory of shop tools and supplies and submit orders to Prod. Manager for purchasing as needed

Your qualifications must consist of:

• Minimum 5 years CNC Lathe experience

• Capable of reading and troubleshooting G code

• Familiarity with Fanuc controls

• Setup and operation of both CNC lathes and mills

It would be great if you possess:

• Trade school training, or sufficient on the job training to perform primary duties
• Basic knowledge of Fadal CNC mills
• Knowledge of how to use SolidCAM to program lathe components
• Use of CAM in prior role

Salary info:

$24 - $30 / hr
