Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / CNC Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Poughkeepsie, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced CNC equipment in a precision manufacturing environment while contributing to the production of high-quality components.
The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines, making tool offsets, troubleshooting production issues, and performing quality inspections. Programming or editing experience is a plus.
CNC Machinist / Operator Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machining equipment
  • Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments to maintain efficient production
  • Prepare machines for production runs and ensure proper setup of materials and tooling
  • Manufacture parts according to engineering drawings and specifications

  • Strong knowledge of precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators, CMMs, and vision systems
  • Experience performing tool offsets and machine adjustments

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience with Mastercam and/or SolidWorks preferred
  • Editing and programming experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
