AER Manufacturing is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team in Carrollton, Texas. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality precision parts.

This position plays a key role in ensuring our products meet strict quality standards while maintaining efficiency and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to perform machining operations including drilling, boring, milling, turning, and threading
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, sketches, and CAD/CAM files
  • Load CNC programs and verify accuracy through test cycles
  • Set up tools, fixtures, and materials according to setup sheets and job specifications
  • Establish and adjust work offsets, tool offsets, and machine parameters for accurate production
  • Monitor machine operations and adjust feeds and speeds to optimize performance and quality
  • Perform basic machine maintenance, including:
    • Maintaining coolant levels and concentration
    • Refilling oil reservoirs
    • Greasing clamping equipment
    • Cleaning CNC equipment
  • Organize tooling and materials while maintaining a clean and efficient work area
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of CNC machining experience
  • Experience with CNC mills and lathes
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong understanding of machining tolerances, tooling, and offsets
  • Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Compensation & Schedule
