Salary:

Overview: Enhance the image of KCI Construction within the industry and community through the production of the highest quality, coordinated & consistent marketing, communication and branding materials.  Overall responsibility for production of all marketing print, photo, and video materials, to meet a variety of internal and external needs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build a consistent KCI brand incorporating GRIT values, Mission & Vision.
  • Solicit input from stakeholders across company and support needs while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Capture construction activities at jobsites and company events, predominately in the St. Louis metropolitan area through still photos, videos, and drone images.
  • Edit photos and video files for utilization in proposals and for social media content. KCI shall have all rights to photos and videos produced in this role.
  • File management of all images & videos from all offices, in central database
  • Manage and create consistent posts for social media platforms.
  • Monitor comments and interact with the social media community.
  • Maintain and organize company historical information.
  • Develop, maintain and procure company banners, signage, fence screening, etc.
  • Lead selection and management of company webstore offerings.
  • Procure branded company items for periodic handouts, trade shows, events, and manage excess stock.
  • Create periodic ads needed for sponsorships and publications.
  • Produce & distribute quarterly company newsletter.
  • Prepare proposals and pre-qualification packets in coordination with Estimating Coordinator.
  • Develop proposal materials including resumes, project information, and general company information.
  • Develop and implement web-based marketing strategies through company website and social media platforms.
  • Provide continual maintenance and enhancement of company website, coordination of e-mail platforms.
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring of same for marketing & branding.
  • Support company event planning, including project specific events such as groundbreaking & ribbon cutting.
  • Develop customer engagement and feedback program.
  • Manage service recognition award program.
  • Prepare and submit award nominations for personnel and projects within the construction industry.
  • Develop & maintain recruiting & trade show handouts.
  • Manage external sponsorship branding.
  • Create consistent format for company forms, slideshows, business cards, and printed items.
  • Assist Human Resources with onboarding, managing welcome bags, business cards, etc.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
  • 3-5 years of marketing related experience including graphic design, video editing, HTML and web design
  • Alignment with GRIT values (Growth, Resilience, Integrity, and Teamwork).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to problem-solve with limited information
  • Outstanding computer skills
  • Must be able to keep flexible hours/schedule at times
  • Must be comfortable working on an active construction site around heavy equipment and machinery
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel
  • Equipment desired but not required, i.e., camera, lenses, tripods, monopods, drones, etc.



Physical Requirements:

  • Work is normally performed in a typical office environment, but construction jobsite visits will be required.
  • Some exposure to physical risk while visiting jobsites.
  • Noise level in the office environment is usually quiet, but on-site might have higher levels of noise.
  • While performing the duties of this role, employee will be required to sit, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is occasionally required stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop or kneel.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
