Description

Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH) is seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Project Coordinator to join our SES Construction and Fuels Services, a subsidiary of BBCH. As a crucial team player, you will provide direct support to the project management team. The ideal candidate will be a team player and have a strong understanding of construction project processes.

Responsibilities

•Interface directly with Program and Project Managers, Superintendents, Subcontractors, and other Project Coordinators, as well as home office Operations Staff (Accounting, Contracts, IT, etc.).
•Provide support to the PM, which includes project setup, preparing subcontractor bid packages, issuing purchase orders, managing invoicing, handling certified payrolls, creating schedules, preparing and submitting documents, organizing project files and documentation, attending meetings, taking and distributing meeting notes, assisting with project commissioning/closeout, and offering additional project support when required.
•Attend construction-related training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
•Assist the PM on-site as necessary.
•Be prepared for occasional travel requirements.
•Be willing to work on job sites when needed.
•Be open to occasional overtime work to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

•Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction project management support role or a related field, or relevant experience showcasing comprehensive knowledge.
•Strong grasp of construction terminology, practices, and job site safety is essential.
•Proficient in construction budgeting and management practices.
•Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and support other project coordinators when necessary.
•Capable of interpreting and comprehending construction plans and specifications.
•Skilled in entering, accessing, and retrieving data from company databases.
•Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with site and home office personnel at various levels.
•Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to following through with tasks and assignments.
•Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Ability to work autonomously with minimal day-to-day management oversight.
•Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
•Experience with RMS and Primavera P6 is a plus.
•Experience with federal construction projects particularly DOD/USACE is a plus.
•Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening and possess acceptable references and background check results.
