The Cardiovascular Technologist assists cardiovascular Physicians in performing and completing invasive, interventional, and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in Labs using a variety of complicated/advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies. Knowledgeable in Vascular, Cardiac, and Pediatric Procedural practice as well as emergent techniques/protocol. Assists in Quality Control checks/Quality Improvement Program. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes the "team" concept and reflects our medical center's mission and philosophy. Able to observe hospital and departmental policies on confidentiality. CVS patients served range from neonates to senior citizens.

Must Haves:

• Must have 3 years direct work experience in Cardiovascular, and/or Interventional Radiological procedures as a Cardiovascular Technologist.
• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire; or
  
• National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred:

• Associate's Degree from an accredited school with supervised clinical experience in invasive Cardiovascular, and/or Interventional Radiological procedures.
• Previous Special Procedures/Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist experience.
