THE POSITION

The CapEx Regional Project Manager reports directly to the SVP of Development & Facilities, with main responsibility for the day-to-day capital expenditures planning and analysis of the managed portfolio.

As the Capex Regional Project Manager, you will assist in the oversight and implementation of capital projects, as it pertains to the Cogir Senior Living facilities. The primary function of this position is leading, managing, and coordinating a variety of complex and technically challenging capital improvement projects from inception and design, through the construction and warranty phases. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining project plans, budgets, and schedules, managing project team members, and subcontractors, and meeting project objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage multiple projects in ground-up Commercial Construction, Custom Residential, and Renovation fields.
• Strategic planning, analysis, approvals, project tracking, and decision-making to ensure that capital expenditures are aligned with the company's and the owner' budgets, goals, and objectives.
• Lead client and stakeholder meetings.
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Provide oversight and guidance to project team members and subcontractors.
• Communicate project status to clients and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve project issues.
• Ensure timely and successful completion of projects.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

• Education: An associate degree is required, a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 5-10 years experience in capital planning and project management, preferably in Senior Living or multi-family real estate, hotels, or a related field.
• Facility Management experience, design work, or renovation project management experience is a plus.
• A certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential, or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge of TELS is required.
• Experience with Yardi is a plus.
• Strong negotiation skills and contract management experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles, paired with experience in planning and maintaining budgets.
• Great leadership, along with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Exceptionally self-motivated, with keen attention to detail and proven problem-solving skills.
• Lives within 30 miles of, or willing to relocate to Scottsdale, AZ.

WORK SETTING

• In-person, Monday to Friday.
• Corporate Office in Scottsdale, AZ
• Travel responsibility - up to 50% of the time.
