Kiawah Island Real Estate is seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Part-Time Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our clients, visitors, agents, and team members. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for everyone who enters or contacts our office.

The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks while maintaining a warm and polished demeanor. This is a PART-TIME position primarily working weekends, with occasional weekday coverage as needed. Weekend availability is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls.
  • Respond to general inquiries and provide accurate information or direct inquiries to the appropriate team member.
  • Manage the reception area and maintain a professional, welcoming environment.
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Assist with scheduling, appointments, and general administrative tasks.
  • Provide administrative support to agents and office staff as needed.
  • Maintain organized files, documents, and office materials.
  • Assist with preparing meeting spaces and supporting office events or client meetings.
  • Monitor office supplies and communicate when replenishment is needed.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors.
  • Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

 Qualifications

  • Previous receptionist, front desk, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional, polished, and personable demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy office environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a supportive member of the team.
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service.
  • Weekend availability is required.
  • Flexibility to provide occasional weekday coverage is preferred.
  • Previous experience in real estate, hospitality, or a luxury customer-service environment is a plus.
