Logistic Coordinator

One Source Freight Solutions is a third-party non-asset-based company which specializes in the movement of ITED Asset Recovery and Renewal Energy products.  As an industry leader in those niche verticals, due to continued growth, we are in search of a full time Logistic Coordinator.   This fast-paced position focuses on coordinating our day-to-day shipments and supporting the efforts of our office by providing visibility and maintaining accurate documentation for all loads.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Representing our company from the front lines.
• Providing clear and concise communication to customers, third party carriers, and independent contractors.
• Troubleshoot customer and vendors concerns.
• Proactively monitoring the movement of freight to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Enter load orders into our Transportation Management System (TMS)
• Monitor and update third party carriers. Obtains timely updates from the carriers to ensure loads are in the proper status.
• Ensure all documents are complete, accurate, and imaged.
• Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Negotiate contracts with third-party logistics providers to secure competitive rates and terms.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, transportation, or business-related degree
• Minimum of one year in third party transportation experience, non-asset-based experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, TMS software)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Professionalism and comfortability working with executives.
• Ability to problem solve and work cross functionally.
