Job description

For our branch in Solihull (Birmingham), we are currently looking for an

experienced and highly competent Road Freight Operator to join this busy

and successful team, with expert knowledge in road freight procedures and a

solid freight forwarding work history.

What you will do:

Effectively manage all procedures involved with domestic, import and export

road freight transportation, from booking to delivery, including billing

Use your extensive knowledge on Customs requirements, entries and

procedures

Deliver excellent customer service to all stakeholders

Generate client and network quotes for road freight transport enquiries

Generate leads and grow the existing client base

What you will bring:

Minimum 5 years experience in a start-to-finish road freight operations role

IT proficient, ideally to include Cargowise1

Educated to a minimum GCSE standard including maths and English

Excellent knowledge and understanding of road freight procedures

Excellent communication and complaint resolution skills

Ability to work under pressure and deliver high quality, on-time work
