Today we are hiring 2 fully remote electric Power Transmission Engineers to work remotely with focus on ERCOT and WECC markets.

The Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting power system analysis utilizing software tools such as PSS/E, PowerWorld, PSLF, ASPEN, or similar.

- Supporting model development and validation for generation and load interconnection projects.

- Preparing interconnection applications and relevant documentation across various North American regions.

- Leading or participating in project study meetings.

- Excelling as both an individual contributor and team member.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

- 2-10 years of direct experience in transmission planning or model development.

- Proficiency with power-system simulation software like PSS/E, PSS/MUST, PSLF, TARA, or PSCAD.

- Familiarity with ERCOT or WECC transmission modeling and power flow assessment.

- Understanding of electric power systems and renewable energy fundamentals.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Willingness to travel occasionally (10% or more).

Desired qualifications:

- PE registration (or equivalent).

- MSEE or PhD is highly desired.

- Knowledge of Python scripting and EMT experience is advantageous.
