As a Senior IT Network Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing all aspects of our network infrastructure. You will also provide support and guidance to users and other IT staff on network-related issues and best practices.

Some of the exciting and challenging tasks that you will be involved in are:

• Designing and implementing functional network infrastructure that meets the needs and goals of our organization.
• Configuring and installing various network devices and services, such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, etc.
• Managing all network security solutions, such as encryption, authentication, authorization, etc.
• Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues, using tools such as ping, traceroute, Wireshark, etc.
• Collaborating with the team to define networking standards and policies, such as naming conventions, IP addressing schemes, routing protocols, etc.
• Providing support to users for network-related concerns, such as connectivity, speed, access, etc.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 8+ years of progressive experience working with IT networks, preferably in a large and complex environment.
• Proficiency in openSUSE operating system, which is the preferred platform for our network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of SSH protocol for secure network communication, using tools such as PuTTY, OpenSSH, etc.
• Experience with Azure cloud services for network deployment, such as virtual networks, load balancers, gateways, etc.
• Familiarity with various network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and VLANs, and how they work together to enable network functionality.
• Expertise in FTP (File Transfer Protocol) for file sharing over networks, using tools such as FileZilla, WinSCP, etc.
• Firsthand experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) networking services, such as VPC, EC2, S3, etc.
• Understanding of DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) for automatic IP address assignment, using tools such as ISC DHCP, Windows DHCP, etc.
• Knowledge of Juniper networking equipment and configurations, such as Junos OS, Juniper SRX, Juniper EX, etc.
• Familiarity with SQL databases for network data management, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Exposure to DevOps practices for efficient network automation and deployment, using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Git, etc.
