This is a hybrid role. The candidate must be able to commute to Burlington home office.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and work with our People Operations team; Provide level 1 Desktop support to ensure quick resolution of technology-related issues.
  • Provide Senior technical support knowledge for end-users regarding computers, printers, and phones.
  • Maintaining laptop and desktop computers including installing, managing, and upgrading the operating system, installing, and configuring applications, creating users, and securing computers with disk encryption and other security best practices.
  • Support network and e-mail connectivity, computer operating systems, hardware and software, internally developed applications, mainframe, and midrange operations
    Interact professionally with internal users to diagnose and resolve problems
  • Network security: Work with vendor and internal team to ensure network 
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory design and Group Policy administration.
  • Manage an enterprise-wide Software Deployment strategy using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
  • Proactively monitors a Microsoft infrastructure environment to ensure continued availability of the systems and services.
  • Document installation and configuration procedures and policies 
  • Support and monitor highly available solutions.
  • Completes maintenance and support actions for the production of Microsoft technologies.
  • Develops processes to increase efficiency and automate regular maintenance of support actions.
  • Identifies and resolves problems with the production Microsoft environment.
  • Assists the Infrastructure team with testing and implementation of new software releases for our internal tech platform as needed.
  • Deploys software for service packs or emergency security patches.


IT Security following processes:

  • Adhere to established policies and procedures. Expand our WISP procedures and oversee security and controls with O365
  • Make sound business decisions, under direction by following documented procedures.
  • Proven experience operating in an Information or Cyber Risk position
  • Ensure antivirus software is up to date on every computer and all patching completed timely
  • Oversee active response plans for any security incidents and keep us compliant with existing plans.
  • Active user training and awareness within the company/teams.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned including overseeing our SharePoint built out, Salesforce software integrations among other third-party vendor/software and internal technology platform.


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT, Helpdesk, or technical role. 
  • Security standards and protocol knowledge for a cloud environment.
  • Experience with OS imaging, maintenance, and deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft System Center suite of products (SCCM, SCOM, VM) AND Teams, SharePoint, Azure. 
  • 3 years of experience with Virtualization configuration, support, deployment.
  • 3 years of experience with various SW deployment methodologies.
  • Proficient with system performance measuring and monitoring.
  • Proficient with IIS, web customization, and encryption.
  • Strong understanding of networking infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN) and protocols (TCP/IP, WINS).
  • Experience in working with formal Patch Management and Change Control Systems.
  • Relevant Certifications (Security CASP, CEH, CISA, CISSP preferred!) 
  • Ability to work in a remote capacity and ability to quickly grasp new concepts, both technical and business related, and utilize as needed.
