Summer Camp Health Director

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish a process for Summer Camp site visits during the program. Conduct these site visits.
• Review site partner health and safety plans and follow up with sites regarding any questions or concerns.
• Monitor site partner compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
• Provide ongoing consultation to Summer Camps regarding health and safety policies and procedures. Coach sites as needed.
• Process incident reports from Summer Campsites and report to key stakeholders as needed.
• Serve as Health Director to select Summer campsites that have their own Department of Health children’s camp permit.
• Other duties as assigned by the Extended Learning Time Manager.

Minimum Requirements

• Hold LPN, RN, EMT, NP, PA, or MD certification
• Reliable transportation with a valid NYS Driver’s License
• Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Remain committed to the position throughout the duration
• Strong work ethic and the ability to take the initiative on projects
• Demonstrate a solution-focused attitude

Salary: This position pays 41.83 per hour up to 20 hours weekly during the duration for this position
