General Job Description: Your job as project superintendent is to complete organizational and project management responsibilities to effectively lead the construction team and ensure they have all the resources they need. They often have the following responsibilities:

Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation.
Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs.
Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline.
Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
Create schedules for workers and subcontractors.
Hire additional subcontractors and assign work accordingly.
Maintain a daily log for the job sites operations, reporting to management as necessary.
Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines.
Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.

Specific Role of Superintendent: (Restore LA Project)
Understand the ECR and make sure that the SOW is correctly completed. Responsible for the presence and communication on site to both our subcontractors and applicants

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Manage construction SOW and Sub to complete the file in the allotted time, to
the quality set forth by Dynamic and meets the satisfaction of the Program.
a. Understand the ECR
b. Presence on site
i. We expect that each job is being visited at least twice a week
c. Document progress
i. Photos
1. Photos of affected areas are required at each visit. We should have photos of everything that was completed in
the home on record in Buildertrend by the completion of the project.
ii. Summary
1. Each Buildertrend entry needs a summary of work being completed and work forecasted

2. Gather information about changes to the scope and or the timeline of the project
a. CO
i. The Super is the eyes of the jobsite. You are responsible for having a well rounded understanding of the entire construction process
and what will be needed to complete the project correctly
b. Delays
i. Anything that comes up that can be considered a delay needs to be documented. ie change orders, inspection delays, rain days,
homeowner delays

3. Effectively communicate with the Applicant
a. Timeline
i. Help applicant understand the timeline of the project
b. Scope of Work
c. Move out coordination

Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Gathering Materials
2. Running errands
3. Calling/Meeting new contractors
4. Picking up permits
5. Delivering Checks
6. ETC....
