Performing Arts Workshops Education, Inc. is staffing 7 SUMMER CAMP LOCATIONS.

We have jobs available in: West LA, Studio City, El Segundo, Northridge, Redondo Beach, Pasadena, and Rancho Palos Verdes.

TEACH ANY OF:

ACTING

VOICE/SINGING

DANCE – musical theater style

GUITAR

PHOTOGRAPHY

DEBATE

FILMMAKING

STAGE FX MAKEUP

STAND UP COMEDY

CHOIR (CONTEMPORARY MUSIC)

POSITIONS & COMPENSATION: (Pay Scale is based on Education & Experience)

Group Leader & Teacher: $23 - $24 per hour

Camp Teacher: $21 - $22 per hour

Camp Assistant: $16 - $17 per hour

DATES & HOURS:

Monday – Friday

Summer Camp Dates: June 17th – August 9th (Plus 2 paid orientation trainings on June 8th & 15th)

Work Hours: 8:00am – 3:30pm // 8:30am – 5:00pm // 8:45am – 3:15pm (Depending on the job)

QUALIFICATIONS:

You must be creative, enthusiastic, caring, motivated, responsible, and love to work with children. You must have formal training in the subject you wish to teach from the available subjects listed above.

Formal training may include: Credits Currently Earned Towards Your Degree OR an Advanced Level of Training in Private Studios OR a Degree in the Subject You Wish to Teach. Also, you must be able to clear a criminal background check, be over the age of 18, and be vaccinated for COVID.

EXPERIENCE:

Prior experience working with or teaching children is needed and references are required.

Experience May Include: Both PAID JOBS or VOLUNTEER WORK and can span teaching jobs at Schools, Studios, Children’s Centers, After-School Programs, YMCA, Parks & Rec, Enrichment Companies, Youth Services, etc.
