Precision Tooling and Machine Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical/Tooling Engineer with a passion for innovative design and enhancing the efficiency and performance of machine components, assemblies, and part-holding tooling. Responsibilities:
- Design and Innovation: Develop machine components, assemblies, systems, and part-holding tooling to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Technical Documentation: Produce precise technical drawings and blueprints to guide the manufacturing process.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for design refinement and cost reduction, advocating improvements from conception to implementation.
- Troubleshooting and Evaluation: Perform technical evaluations and manufacturing troubleshooting, devising strategies and corrective actions to address and mitigate issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with management and cross-functional teams to communicate and implement design changes effectively.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in mechanical design, analysis, and problem-solving, particularly in precision engineering for industrial applications.
- Proven ability to enhance machine design and innovate existing models for improved performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working seamlessly with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing settings with a willingness to engage directly in production processes.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects, with strong capabilities in Autodesk Inventor or comparable CAD software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a design engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
