Front Desk/Medical Billing at Naturopathic Clinic

Busy Naturopathic Clinic seeking warm, positive, collaborative, honest, and reliable person to join our team, working with two naturopathic doctors at our front desk. This position is dynamic and fast paced; our front of house wears many ’hats’; the most important is providing a healing energy and welcoming environment. In addition to extraordinary multi-tasking abilities and great attention to detail, being highly organized will help you thrive in this position.

Naturopathic/alternative health philosophy is a must, and we require experience with HIPAA knowledge, patient services, reception duties, and medical billing. This position is full time and after 3 months includes health benefits and retirement. In addition we are a smoke free facility.

Job Duties include: phone and email patient communication, scheduling patients, greeting and checking patients in/out, taking payments for co-pays and supplements, applying Insurance payments, submitting claims, daily balancing, scanning & faxing, ordering office supplies and supplement dispensary re-stock, entering and preparing daily labs to be sent out, helping patients in/out of our hyperbaric oxygen chamber, and light office cleaning.

We are actively looking to fill the position and begin training as soon as possible.

Pay: $20-$24 per hour 34-40 hours week

Schedule:

• Monday 9:30 am - 2:30 pm
• Tuesday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (1 hour lunch unpaid from 1:30-2:30 pm)
• Wednesday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (1 hour lunch unpaid from 1:30-2:30 pm)
• Thursday 9:30 -2:30
• Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (1 hour lunch unpaid from 1:30-2:30 pm)

Please note that occasionally the work day can overflow past 5:30 pm and we require flexibility to stay until all patient’s are checked out.
