Job DescriptionImmediate opening for an experienced Medical Equipment Specialist in Berkeley, CA. The Medical equipment specialist will Maintain clean store and help out with inventory with all durable products from hospital beds to wheel chairs.Duties: General labor duties include lifting and moving durable equipment for the medical equipment specialist position The medical equipment specialist will insure excellent customer service over the counter and over the phone, handle customer's questions and requests and take orders. The medical equipment specialist will answer heavy phones and greet walk in customers picking up or placing orders for their durable equipment The medical equipment specialist compiles and maintains records of quantity, type and value of material, equipment, merchandise or supplies stocked.
Counts material, equipment, merchandise or supplied in stock and posts totals to inventory records, manually or using the computer. The medical equipment... specialist will compare inventories to office records (sales orders / purchase invoices) to obtain current inventory.
Verify clerical computations against physical count of stock, making necessary adjustments. Investigate and report reasons for inventory discrepancies. Prepare reports such as inventory balance, price lists and shortages.
Prepare list of depleted items and recommend survey of defective / unusable items. Stock and issue materials / merchandiseRequirements: 3+ years of inventory maintenance required for the medical equipment specialist position Bilingual Spanish a plus but not required for the medical equipment specialist position Durable Medical Equipment (DME) a plus but not required General labor duties include lifting up to 10 lbs. and moving durable equipment The medical equipment specialist must provide exceptional service and be readily available to startDetails: Location: Berkeley, CA Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m. / Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
