Registered Dietitian Liaison- Enteral

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Dietitian Liaison to join our team. As a Registered Dietitian Liaison, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition advice and counseling to our clients. You will work closely with our healthcare professionals to develop and implement nutrition plans that meet the unique needs of each client. The ideal candidate should have a passion for helping others and be knowledgeable in enteral nutrition therapy and its related health issues, sales and business development. This role will involve developing and maintaining strong relationships with referral sources (i.e. case managers, social work, dietitians, MDs) to assist with discharge of enterally fed patients. Job Type: Full time, Hybrid, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Location: Nashville, TN, mostly within 2 hours of Nashville, occasionally Chattanooga and other cities.

• High School Diploma is required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nutrition is preferred
• Current Registered Dietitian license in the state of practice
• Valid driver’s license is required
• 1-2 years of experience in enteral nutrition, healthcare coordination, or patient care support is preferred
• Previous experience as a Registered Dietitian required
• Knowledge of enteral nutrition required
• Familiarity with healthcare information systems, electronic health records, and Microsoft Office Suite

Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

• Process new enteral referrals efficiently and accurately
• Engage with patients to gather necessary information, answer questions, and provide support
• Set up enteral pumps and supplies at hospital discharge locations within the service area
• Educate patients on enteral procedures, products, and best practices, ensuring comprehension and adherence
• Conduct assessments to understand patient nutritional needs and work with dietitians to create personalized plans
• Schedule patient set-ups and coordinate with other team members to ensure timely service
• Process order changes and review formulas for cost efficiency and nutritional adequacy
• Make necessary adjustments in collaboration with clinical staff
• Provide excellent patient care and customer service
• Other duties as assigned

Manipulate small equipment and containers, such as syringes, vials, ampules, and medication packages, to administer medications. Negotiate level surfaces, ramps, and stairs. Function with both hands free for performing psychomotor tasks. Maneuver in small areas. The employee must frequently lift a minimum weight of 15 pounds and more, and be able to perform repetitive standing, sitting, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, typing and use full range of body motions.
