Sheet Fed Press Operator (Komori) - 3rd Shift

We are currently seeking experienced (advanced level) Press Operators for our growing Glendale location!

SUMMARY: The Press Operator is responsible for the set up and efficient operation of sheet fed press, ensuring on-time, high quality and quantity production while leading the feeder.

Schedule:

Schedule: 3rd shift, Monday-Friday, eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM, or similar. Training may occur at other times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Access Batching System to view schedule and identify priority jobs to be completed
• Examine job orders to determine the quantity to be printed, stock specifications, color(s) and special printing instructions
• Setup and run assigned apparatus to set product specifications
• Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications and external defects
• Ensure completion of assignments/tasks by multi-tasking
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
• Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s)
• Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment
• Attend all department/company meetings
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience as Sheet Fed Press Operator (Komori preferred)

Preferred

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency, preferred
