We are seeking a Retail Product Coordinator our Internet Services Department. Successful candidates enjoy a fast-paced & creative environment, have strong people skills, thrive on challenges, and are team players. We offer a flexible schedule of 35-40 hours a week, with more hours during floral holidays and other busy times.

Retail Product Coordinator

As the Retail Product Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of products from suppliers to customers. You will ensure that all retail and ecommerce operations are streamlined, and that product availability meets the strategic goals of the company. This in-person role is based at our corporate headquarters and reports to the Director of Marketing and eCommerce.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSBILITIES

  • Coordinate the retail product lifecycle using information from multiple departments to ensure products are set up in all systems, accurate and available to retail stores and website customers on schedule.
  • Develop and manage product schedules, aligning all necessary resources and stakeholders and ensure all parts of the product schedule are completed on time.
  • Facilitate communication across departments to ensure clear understanding of roles and responsibilities in product lifecycle.
  • Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy and ensure consistent availability of products across all sales channels.
  • Set up and categorize new products in company ERP, point-of-sale, and e-commerce store.
  • Analyze inventory reports, generate, and distribute reorder pick lists, and input reordered inventory into point-of-sale system.
  • Analyze inventory levels and sales data to optimize stock distribution and replenishment across stores.
  • Oversee retail price changes, sales & promotions, product availability, product care instructions, floral subscription program, and coordinate direct ship program.
  • Complete product updates quickly and consistently with good attention to detail.
  • Maintain flower pricing data, floral design library, and container pricing data.
  • Work with Marketing Manager to organize and merchandise company websites to effectively sell products and add-ons based on available flowers and hardgoods.
  • Manage and update 3rd party websites where products are sold (i.e. funeral home sites, etc.)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related projects, questions, issues, and changes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Excellent math skills, data accuracy, and an aptitude for analyzing information.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across stores and departments.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Working understanding of ERP systems.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Able to handle confidential and proprietary information.
  • Able to demonstrate a "team player" demeanor.

EDUCATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with related experience.
  • Previous project management experience a plus.

SCHEDULE

  • 35-40 hours per week or more depending on business conditions.
  • Additional hours possible at floral holidays which may reach 50-70 hours per week.
