As an EDI Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing EDI solutions to facilitate electronic communication and data exchange with our partners, suppliers, and customers. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to analyze EDI requirements and design integration solutions.
- Configure and maintain EDI maps, translations, and communication protocols to facilitate data exchange.
- Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions to ensure successful transmission and receipt of data.
- Develop and maintain EDI trading partner agreements, profiles, and setups.
- Coordinate testing and validation of EDI transactions with trading partners.
- Implement and maintain EDI-related software, tools, and systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, EDI standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide support and training to end users and stakeholders on EDI processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in EDI implementation and support.
- Strong understanding of EDI standards and protocols (ANSI X12, EDIFACT).
- Experience with EDI translation software and tools (e.g., Gentran, BizTalk, Sterling Integrator).
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as FTP, AS2, SFTP, and VAN.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and integration techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in EDI or related field.
- Experience with EDI in specific industries such as healthcare, retail, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of XML and other data exchange formats.
- Understanding of data mapping and transformation concepts.
- Familiarity with EDI compliance and trading partner management.
- SPS Commerce & Deacom experience preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of EDI standards and protocols (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT, AS2, SFTP).
- Hands-on experience with EDI mapping and translation tools.
- Strong understanding of business processes related to supply chain, logistics, and electronic commerce.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
