Job Description

At Hub Plastics Midwest, a Blow Molding Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining blow molding machines to produce plastic bottles & containers. They ensure the quality and integrity of the products by monitoring the production process, making necessary adjustments, and conducting regular machine inspections.

This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot issues.

Repair and maintain equipment; tag for maintenance if unable to repair.

Ensure container work order is filled out and located at the machine.

Start setup of equipment and machine per work order and machine set up sheet

Run test containers until processed & produce quality containers.

Submit quality containers to Quality for first article inspection.

Production of containers can be started by BMT according to First Article

Ensure machine is stocked and full of correct material mix and verify machine is running at correct rates

Other jobs assigned by management in support of all operations.
