Job description

Extrusion/Blow Mold Operator  
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Extrusion/Blow Mold Operator for a company based in Houston, TX. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for keeping the machine running during your shift and producing items that meet the stablished specifications while also focusing on Safety, Quality and Housekeeping.

Pay Rate

$18.00 - $20.00 Depending on experience.

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 10:30pm – 7:00am
    
Extrusion/Blow Mold Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensuring machine is functioning safely in accordance with GMP and housekeeping standards
• Understanding of bottle quality requirements and documentation of those requirements
• Sustain efficiencies and scrap on production machines that meet company goals
• Ability to effectively communicate machine, process, quality related issues
• Effectively diagnose problems and logically troubleshoot tasks
• Comply with direction from Supervisors and Managers
• Perform and complete color changes when required
• Perform minor preventive maintenance to the machines during their shift
• Complete quality inspection and record them in our statistical process control software
• Mechanical and Process related troubleshooting on specific processes in the plant
 
Extrusion/Blow Mold Operator Qualifications and Requirements
• Must have 1 plus years of recent extrusion/blow mold operator experience
• Able to train during the day
• Must have good attention to detail
• Ability to enter machinery safely and unhindered by physical restrictions
• Willingness to work 12 hours on either day or night shifts, weekends, and overtime
• Able to read, write and communicate fluently in English
• Background check and Drug test required
