True North Hotel Group, an award-winning management and development company, is seeking a Banquet Houseman to join our team at Devens Conference Center in Devens, Massachusetts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reading banquet event orders and setting up rooms accordingly
Correctly and efficiently set up and break down all department functions
Be totally familiar with (and practice) the safe handling care and storage of all banquet equipment
Service/freshen all meeting rooms during breaks.
Ensuring that all equipment and foods are at safe temperatures
Be able to Move, lift, push items weighing up to 50 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Experience in hospitality preferred

Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stopping
Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk for an extended period of time
