Job Summary: The Distribution Center Team Member is tasked with ensuring timely delivery of goods to internal and external customers within our regional coverage areas, loading and unloading trucks, providing exceptional customer service, receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. We are looking for a candidate that can embody our Guiding Principles while fulfilling their job specific responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Pull, prepare and load products for customer orders, transfers, and will call.

• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.

• Complete all work pertaining to inventory, which includes shipping confirmations, receiving confirmations, purchase orders, UPS, FedEx, LTL shipments.

• Accountable for overall cleanliness/organization of the warehouse.

• Inspect equipment, trucks, forklifts, etc. in order to maintain a good working order.

• File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.

• Process customer transactions both via phone and in person.

• Follow and respect strict health & safety SOP's.

• Ability to handle physical workload.

• Ability to work in a fast-self-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver License.

• Experience with forklift, RF scanners, hand truck and pallet jack

• Minimum of one year experience in a warehouse setting.

Work Environment: This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role uses standard warehouse equipment such as forklift, ladders, cherry pickers, hand trucks, box cutters, etc. Routinely this role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines.
