Lead preschool teacher

Summary

Kids Movement Preschool is located in Mesa, bordering Gilbert. We are located on the property of Without Walls Church and partner to serve the families in our community with preschool and child care needs. We value our staff and students, and are intentional about their social/emotional and character development. If you love kids and a sense of community, you'll love working with us!
We have grown and will be adding a 3's class. This position is for a lead teacher in a preschool classroom. The starting position will be co-teacher in a classroom with 3-5 year olds. In the 24/25 school year, the position will transfer to a lead 3's teacher.

Duties

Be responsible for the health and safety of the kids.
Help create and implement age appropriate lesson plans and activities.
Partner with parents/guardians regarding their child's growth.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
Maintain required documents for student records and staff file.
Be a team player!
Create a fun environment

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
High School Diploma.
Minimum 6 months experience in a licensed childcare center or an associate/bachelor degree in early childhood or related field
Ability to communicate effectively - verbally and on a tablet.
Ability to create a positive learning environment.
Patience and flexibility is a must
Must obtain a level one fingerprint clearance card, negative TB test, a valid CPR/1st Aid card.

Nice To Haves

18 hours of Early Childhood Education or a CDA certificate.
At least 1 year experience in the preschool field
