Staff Accountant

Elevate Dental Partners is searching for a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

General Ledger Management

•Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for our dental practices and support team
•Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions
•Work with the accounting team to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Accounts Payable and Receivable

•Work with an outsourced AP team to prepare invoices and serve as a backup when necessary
•Verify invoices for payment
•Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies

Bank Reconciliation

•Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash balances
•Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Ad Hoc Projects

•Participate in one-off analyses as determined by management
•Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide support as needed
•Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives
•Assist with audit and tax preparation Including working with external auditors as needed
•Assist in the preparation of annual returns
•Stay up to date about changes in accounting laws and regulations relevant to the dental industry

Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
•Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft applications, especially Excel
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
•Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
