WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

As the ultimate problem-solver, you'll be at the forefront of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of maintenance issues across our properties. From HVAC troubleshooting and programming thermostats to tackling electrical repairs such as replacing bulbs and receptacles, no task is too daunting for you. You'll also demonstrate your expertise in fire alarm panel troubleshooting and resolving plumbing woes like unclogging toilets and fixing faucet and irrigation leaks.

But it doesn't stop there - you'll even conquer challenges on the building exterior, from ensuring storefront door closures and replacing locks to sealing window leaks. And let's not forget about maintaining the roofs - you'll fearlessly clean roofs, scuppers, and downspouts to prevent leaks, as well as take charge of minor roof repairs like sealing skylights. Plus, you'll play an integral role in keeping our properties in top-notch condition by performing regular inspections and promptly responding to work orders from the commercial team. DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• Ability to use a personal computer and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as other computer tracking systems
• Ability to use standard maintenance equipment
• Current driver's license and automobile insurance
• Willingness to maintain a professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy
• Willingness to comply with all safety regulations, including the use of a back brace, safety harness, safety goggles, and gloves when appropriate
• Reachable via phone, text, or email, except during approved time off
• Ability to travel locally
• Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds

3+ years of experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade is preferred.
