Dynamic, state-of-the-art, plastic surgery practice in San Francisco is seeking a full-time Front Office Coordinator. This is full-time position, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. Our ideal candidate would be a friendly, energetic and flexible individual with at least 2 years' experience working in a medical environment, assuming both clerical and clinical duties. This position requires a professional demeanor, excellent attention to detail and follow-through, as well as the ability to multi-task throughout the day.

Benefits:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Opening and closing the office
- Answering and fielding incoming phone calls
- Checking patients in & out on clinic days
- Scheduling/rescheduling patients
- Preparing patient charts for the next clinic day
- Entering new patients into the software system
- Rooming patients
- Data entry and document scanning
- Maintaining inventory of medical & various office supplies on a weekly basis
- Assisting in keeping the office organized
- Ensuring that treatment rooms are stocked
- Posting & collecting payments
- Verifying insurance benefits
- Obtaining insurance authorizations
- Various clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, etc.
Required skills include:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare environment (2 years+)
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Friendly and polished patient interaction
- A hard-working and positive attitude
- Ability to multi-task and work proactively
- Sensitivity and discretion with relation to patient matters (HIPAA compliant)
Preferred skills include:
- At least 2 years' experience working in a private medical practice
- Experience with electronic health record and online scheduling
