Clean Energy Program Coordinator

The Clean Energy Program Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing a Clearwater Energy Efficiency Advisory program. This position will assist members in solving challenges and meeting their clean energy goals. It will also work with a network of contractors to provide energy efficient updates with the overall goal of building smart environments for the future.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Research and summarize:
  • Available clean energy incentives throughout Clearwater’s Field of Membership (municipal, county, state, and federal).
  • Best practices for delivering residential and light commercial energy efficiency improvements.
  • Existing complementary initiatives throughout Clearwater’s market
• Develop a network of contractors and service providers as needed to deliver efficiency upgrades.
• Create a comprehensive customer-service oriented energy efficiency advisory service for Clearwater’s members.
• Oversee the development of necessary internal systems and including web pages and advertising material.
• Serve as the initial provider of clean energy advisory services for Clearwater members, answering and advising member questions pertaining to energy efficiency.
• Complete reports upon request.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience and/or education in construction, architecture, engineering, or scientific research.
• Basic understanding of energy systems and building performance is preferred.
• Excellent research and quantitative analysis ability.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Comfortable networking, speaking in meetings, and representing Clearwater at community events.
