Operator/Laborer (Charleston, SC)
LEAD Milwaukee
Location: Charleston, South Carolina, USA

Type of work: Full-time

Shift: Primarily Days, but some flexibility is required for OT

Job Highlights:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer/Operator to join our team in Charleston, SC. As a key member of our workforce, you will be responsible for site preparation, site organization, equipment operation, and maintaining a safe work environment among other duties assigned by your supervisor.

Responsibilities:

Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazards.
Load and unload building materials for use.
Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth as needed.
Operate various equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
Utilize a range of tools including brooms, shovels, and pavement breakers.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year experience in construction.
Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions.
Proficiency in basic math and reading tape ruler measurements.
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
Willingness to work in diverse environmental conditions.
