Creative Arts Therapist - PRN

High Focus Centers in Lansdale is a premier provider of outpatient treatment programs for mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders. At High Focus Centers in Lansdale we are currently seeking a Per Diem Creative Arts Therapist to join our amazing team of behavioral healthcare professionals. Job Details:
• Uses subject, form and content of various art forms to enhance and initiate growth and change
• Conducts and facilitates modalities of music therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and/or expressive arts activities for groups
• Prepares materials for facilitating sessions and or groups
• Collaborates with other professionals in a team approach
• Assists Executive Directors in achieving excellent program survey results and making recommendations as needed to provide optimal service
• Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients
• Participates in completing documents within the allowable time frames in collaboration with therapists
• Scheduled based on needs of the programs, fulfilling coverage needs that may result in consistent hours
• Attends trainings, staff meetings and supervision as needed and according to program standards
• Maintains safe, clean, orderly and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention
• Maintains ethical boundaries with clients
• Travel to offices as needed
• Other duties as deemed necessary

Technical Competencies:
• Facility with the many Creative Arts modalities including, but not limited to visual, language, drama, movement/dance, sound, symbolism, horticulture.
• Family supports and referrals
• Individual and group counseling

Education, Experience:
1) Master Level Therapist required
2) ATR-BC, MT-BC, or BC-DMT preferred, but board-certification in-process is considerable
3) LPC or LCSW preferred, but not required
