The Material Handler loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near the warehouse or work site by performing the following duties.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prioritize Factory Documents based on starting date.
• Reads Factory Documents and drawing instructions to ascertain materials to be pulled.
• Bag, box, and mark all items for jobs.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, from Factory Document. Put on shelves when complete.
• Operates cutting machine to cut wires, tabs, shrink tubes, shrink wrap, and Velcro.
• Pulls parts and places on shelf. Kit issues, jobs- (computer).
• Reports all shortages to management. Weekly checks “M” item stock status and reports any shortages.
• Cleans work area, machines, and equipment.
• Makes simple adjustments or repairs such as realigning belts or blades.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 6-9 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Forklift Operator (preferred Certified), Pallet Jack (electric)
• H.S Diploma or G.E.D.
