Electrical Designer

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of an Electrical Designer in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for electrical components using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
• Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
• Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
• Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery, using computer-assisted equipment.
• Position instructions and comments onto drawings.
• Modify and revise designs.

Requirements

• Electrical engineer or designer with 3-6 years’ experience in electrical, lighting, and fire alarm design of commercial buildings. We will talk with candidates that have more experience beyond this range. Pay range may vary depending on experience and capabilities.
• Proficient/experienced with using/applying AutoCad and Revit. We will not consider candidates if they do not have significant Revit experience.
• 3-6 years’ experience in design of telecommunications and data communications technology is a plus. RCDD certification is an additional plus. RCDD=Registered Communications Distribution Designer
