The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of soft skills, technical knowledge, and exceptional communication abilities to effectively troubleshoot and address customer inquiries and concerns over the phone.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary customer service via phone calls, emails, and other communication channels, addressing inquiries related to warranties, claims, and lighting/electrical issues.
- Utilize strong understanding of lighting and electrical principles to troubleshoot technical problems remotely, guiding customers through diagnostic procedures and solutions over the phone, through email, or in-person.
- Demonstrate proficiency in phone etiquette and communication techniques to effectively convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Collaborate closely with customers, internal teams, and external partners to ensure timely resolution of issues and fulfillment of warranty claims.
- Document customer interactions, technical solutions, and warranty claims accurately and thoroughly in our CRM system.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and manufacturing processes to provide informed support and assistance to customers.
- Assist in the development and improvement of support processes and documentation to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline operations.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while working in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on phone etiquette and customer interaction.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting lighting and electrical issues, with a solid understanding of lighting technology and electrical systems.
- Previous experience in customer support or technical support roles, preferably in a manufacturing or electrical industry.
- Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documenting customer interactions and technical solutions.
