QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational/Degree: Bachelor's Degree in HR related field preferred, or work experience in HR related field for minimum of 2 years
Knowledge/Skills/Ability: Ability to work independently, make accurate, and at times, quick judgments. Acceptance of and adaptability to different social, racial, cultural and religious modes. Proven working experience as HR manager or other HR executive. People oriented and results driven. Knowledge of HR systems and databases. Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resource field, preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common. Hearing, vision, and speaking within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.
Mental Requirements:
Must be able to work independently, make judgments based on assessments and data available and act accordingly. Must be flexible, innovative and possess good interpersonal skills. Must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress and demonstrate emotional stability.
Working Conditions:
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Transportation:
Must have a current valid driver's license, auto liability insurance and reliable transportation.
Essential Functions:
- Identifying, evaluating and solving hiring challenges
- Recruiting top talent to open positions
- Mediating and suggesting solutions to employee disputes
- Interviewing potential candidates and making recommendations
- Compiling information about compensation and benefits packages based on market data
- Liaison with HR platform, Magellan HCM
- Runs payroll in a timely manner without mistakes
- Ensures Federal, State and local compliance regarding record keeping and personnel matters.
- Exercises independent judgment in the performance of other general duties not associated with the personnel function.
- Conducts training to staff and employees as required to inform them of changes to policies and procedures. Also trains on changes to the benefit programs.
