Job Description

- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, same day implants, Crowns, and bridges

- Conduct dental examinations and develop treatment plans

- Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings and fluoride treatments

- Educate patients on oral health and proper dental hygiene techniques

- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions

- Collaborate with dental specialists when necessary

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Skills:

- Medical coding: Knowledge of medical coding systems for accurate billing and insurance claims

- Aseptic technique: Ability to maintain a sterile environment during dental procedures to prevent infections

- Anatomy knowledge: Understanding of the structure and function of the oral cavity and surrounding areas

- CAD (Computer-Aided Design): Proficiency in using CAD software for designing dental restorations

- Open Dental: Familiarity with Open Dental or similar dental practice management software for patient records and scheduling

- Medical imaging: Ability to interpret and analyze medical images such as X-rays and CT scans for diagnosis

- Infection control: Knowledge of infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases in a dental setting

We are looking for a part time treating dentist for a practice who specializes in dental implants and the AOX procedure. We are seeking someone with an excellent chair side manner and communication skills.

Experience in all aspects of general and restorative dentistry with AOX experience is a plus!
