Job Summary: The Internal Quality Auditor supports and sustains compliance of HonorBridge processes, procedures and systems with internal and external requirements, primarily by performing effective and collaborative audits of the same. This is a hybrid position and will require individuals to work in the Chapel Hill, NC office occassionaly.

Consistently demonstrates effective communication
Promotes teamwork to ensure success at HonorBridge
Ensures compliance of HonorBridge internal activities and processes
Performs internal compliance audits of processes and systems, including surgical recovery of organs and tissues in an operating room environment
Prepares and distributes audit reports to HonorBridge Management
Communicates non-compliances to the Manager of Regulatory Compliance
Acts as a technical consultant for quality assurance issues
Assists Manager of Regulatory Compliance with Tissue Processor audits
Assists in the assurance of departmental regulatory compliance
Monitors and evaluates the department for efficiency
Assists in writing and revising policies and procedures
Assists in development of effective audit tools, such as checklists
Reviews and assists in resolving staff errors
Performs periodic (monthly & semi-annually) data quality checks for regulatory agencies (UNOS).
Submits periodic development plans, including issues, goals, and strategies, to Manager.
Submits monthly, quarterly, and annual audit reports to members of management as appropriate.
Assists in tracking/trending of audit findings for Management review.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager of Regulatory Compliance
What we are looking for:
Bachelors Degree Required
A minimum of 2 years experience working in a regulatory environment, preferably healthcare or FDA-regulated
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data
Demonstrated knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
Experience in form completion and documentation.
