We're Seeking: A&P Mechanic in San Juan, PR

Role Snapshot: Under general oversight, you'll be instrumental in maintaining, modifying, and repairing aircraft and their components, adhering to manufacturer specifications and FAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections in line with ACC and manufacturer standards.
• Interpret maintenance manuals to effectively address and repair issues.
• Modify aircraft systems/components following detailed guidelines.
• Install various aircraft components, demonstrating proficiency with tools.
• Undertake emergency repairs to minimize downtime, which may include travel.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and adhere to scheduled checks and overhauls.
• Uphold strict quality, safety, and sanitation standards.

What We Need From You:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical college/training highly regarded.
• Certification: FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
• Experience: 3-5 years preferred, with a strong foundation in aircraft maintenance and safety protocols.

Your Skills:

• Expertise in interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work, subject to weather conditions.
