Environmental Service Supervisor, PACE

McGregor PACE, an innovative community based Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly, takes great pride in the provision of comprehensive services for frail older persons.

We are seeking an experienced self-motivated individual to lead our maintenance team and to play a key role in the coordination, troubleshooting and general upkeep of housekeeping services and repairs to ensure a "clean safe working environment" daily for consumers, staff and visitors with hands on supervisory oversight of three (3) PACE office locations.

Our ideal candidate must have a working knowledge of floor maintenance and mechanical equipment, a general knowledge of HVAC systems, fire alarm system, and electrical equipment,

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for facilitating secured open/close of facility daily.
• Facilitates quarterly Safety Drills according to regulatory compliance; acts as point of contact with building Contractors and troubleshoots operational issues and emergencies as required.
• Ensures housekeeping cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.,) at work sites as outlined for housekeeping. Coordinates additional cleaning/maintenance assignments as required.
• Cleans assigned areas, furnishings, and fixtures according to established housekeeping procedures.
• Experienced in floor maintenance i.e;, dry mops, wet mops, sweeps, strips, waxes, buffs, disinfects where and when necessary.
• Spot cleans and disinfects when necessary. Walls and ceilings and ceiling fixtures are cleaned as scheduled including entrances and exits; building interior and exterior
• Reports observations concerning structural and equipment wear, defects and malfunctions; reports supply and equipment needs for replenishing as necessary.
• Maintains equipment used in performing duties.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or GED equivalent required
• Experience working in nursing home, adult day care or assisted living preferred
• Must be able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to self direct to effectively accomplish job duties
• Dependability, flexibility and caring attitude, required
• Physical ability to perform job functions, including lifting/moving supplies and equipment required
