Job Description

We are seeking a Concrete Estimator for a direct hire opportunity in Hyattsville MD
This position offers full benefits including Profit Sharing, PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k and more!
Salary is $1800 -$3000 weekly (based on experience)
Schedule: Mon -Friday (1st shift)

Responsibilities for Concrete Estimator:

Conducting project walkthroughs with clients and meticulously intake project scope details
Preparing takeoffs from plan sets and estimating the cost of jobs
Presenting detailed bids (including written scope of work) for submission
Attending inspections (city or public works) as required
Coordinating with Foreman and Project Manager to discuss project goals, roadblocks, and alterations in project scopes
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for Concrete Estimator:

5+ years of in-field masonry and concrete experience (in commercial sector)
5+ years of concrete estimating experience including take off
Experience with Plan Swift, Bluebeam and Excel is a plus
Expert knowledge of the trade preferred, including block, brick, stone, stucco, concrete, tile, grading, machine work, precast, repointing, drainage, waterproofing, and blueprints.
