Job description

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Estimator with strong takeoff knowledge and commercial concrete experience. The ideal candidate must be proficient in PlanSwift, as this is our primary takeoff software and we do not intend to transition to another platform. Previous experience with iSqFt is a plus, but not required.

This position requires someone who can independently produce accurate and detailed concrete quantity takeoffs that will later be priced during our bid process. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple project sizes are essential.

Our company bids a wide range of commercial concrete projects, from small-scale jobs to large, complex commercial developments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong experience performing concrete takeoffs

  • Proficiency with PlanSwift

  • Commercial concrete estimating experience preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to work on multiple bids simultaneously

  • Experience with projects of varying size and complexity

Responsibilities:

  • Complete accurate quantity takeoffs for commercial concrete projects

  • Review plans, specifications, and bid documents

  • Coordinate with estimating and project management teams

  • Ensure takeoffs are thorough and completed within deadlines

Commercial concrete experience is highly preferred.

**Any candidate for this position must have a valid driver's license and be capable of commuting to work in Wellford, SC every day. This is not a remote position, and we have no plans to pay for relocation.
