Job Description

Provides assistance to park patrons, monitors permitted usage at picnic sites and ball fields, and assists in the boat rental operation at the Allen Pond Boathouse. Ensures compliance with park related City Codes that are designed to promote park safety and proper usage practices.  Provides security and labor during City sponsored special events. Hours vary by season and include 5:30PM to Midnight Monday to Friday and 6:30AM to Midnight Saturday and Sunday. Extensive evening and weekend work required.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • One-year customer service experience
  • Training and experience in parks and recreation, natural science, public relations, or public safety preferred.  
  • Must be certified in First Aid & CPR or be able to obtain certification within 2 months of hire.
  • Experience with use of cash register preferred.
  • Must have Valid Driver’s License.

 

Salary:   $20.52 Hourly
