Machine Operator

A company specializing in high-purity water systems located in San Clemente is looking for a Membrane Extrusion Machine Operator. The ideal candidate would have machine operation experience with plastics extruding or injection molding lines.

The hours are 8 AM to 4:30 PM. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Once hired by the company, there are excellent company benefits. The starting pay is $22 to $32/hour.

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate equipment in the Membrane Department, this includes:
  • Flat sheet extruder and ancillary equipment
  • Slitter/Sheeter
  • Expansion/Regeneration Tanks and Test Cell

• Membrane inspection and testing
• Cut and package/palletized membrane for shipping
• Prepare membrane for EDI assembly
• Assist with membrane inventory
• Daily housekeeping

Education and Experience Required:

• High-school diploma or GED.
• Able to demonstrate mechanical and physical dexterity.
• An overall understanding of systems operation and execution.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English with competence and follow instructions (written and oral).
