Job Summary:
Special Touch Nursing Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Registered Nurse Supervisor. This is a full-time, hourly position based in South Charleston, West Virginia. As as RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized care to our clients in their homes, managing their medical needs and coordinating with other healthcare professionals. You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with your patients and make a positive impact on their lives.
We are looking for a candidate to enhance the quality of patient management, maximize satisfaction and promote cost effectiveness. The successful candidate will be accountable for the full patient care cycle. The RN Supervisor is responsible for providing services within the framework of the ADW Program as outlined by the program requirements. Follow program requirements to maintain standards and governmental regulation/rules and guidelines. Achieves department and company goals through teamwork. Serves as resource and educator concerning issues of care, documentation and reimbursement.
Reports To: Administrator
Qualifications:
- Two years of related clinical nursing experience
- Evidence of ability to supervise and direct Homemaker Program
- Current nursing license in the state of West Virginia

Duties and Responsibilities of RN Supervisor:
- Conduct Assessments prior to Start of Care
- Orient Homemakers to Plan of Care and client
- Conduct supervisory visit per program requirements
- Conduct post hospital and annual assessments
- Conduct ongoing assessment and homemaker performance
- Must be available by telephone at all times for on-call telephone after normal business hours
- Recruiting and employing staff
- Training and staff development
- Evaluation of Homemaker
- Documentation and communication with Case Management agencies
- Quality assurance monitoring
- Conduct conference with homemaker to determine methods to implement client's plan of care and service plan
- Test performance, knowledge and skill of homemaker
- Perform yearly evaluation of the homemaker
- Coordinate the service of the homemaker with the Case Management agency
- Determine client's ability to sign homemaker timesheets
- Review homemaker timesheets
- Other duties as assigned by the Administrator
