Mental Health Therapist (Independent Contractor)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and experienced professional committed to delivering high-quality therapeutic services. This contract position offers flexible scheduling based on client need and therapist availability, with the potential to work remotely through telehealth services or in person depending on client preferences and therapeutic requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, diagnose, and provide treatment planning for clients experiencing a variety of mental health challenges.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions through individual, couples, family, or group therapy sessions as required.
• Document and maintain client records in accordance with legal requirements and clinic policies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to treatment.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all professional and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent.
• Strong clinical skills with a minimum of 2 years of direct practice experience (preferred).
• Experience with electronic health record systems and teletherapy platforms.
• Ability to commit to a set number of client hours per week.
• Professional liability insurance.
