POSITION SUMMARY
The Benefits and Compensation Specialist will coordinate employee benefits, worker's compensation and Leave programs according to established policy, rules, and regulations. Process and provide timely notification and communication with employees and supervisors regarding leaves and absences as well as insurance carrier regarding worker's compensation claims. Maintain records and provide assistance to employees to ensure effective use of benefits.

Maintain records and provide assistance to employees to ensure effective use of benefits.
What you will be doing
- Leave Administration: Provide information on leave benefits, process absences, and coordinate with relevant departments.
- Benefit Administration: Administer employee benefits, handle inquiries, and manage enrollment processes.
- Workers' Compensation Administration: Process claims, communicate with relevant parties, and assist injured employees.
- Risk Management Administration: Assist with insurance applications, claims, and administrative tasks.
- Records, Reports, and Correspondence: Prepare and maintain records, compile data, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you will bring to the team
- Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP and CEBS professional designations preferred
- 3-5 years' experience working with Benefits, LOA and Worker's compensation
- Strong interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication, and strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong technical skills in Computers, Microsoft Suite, Teams and HRIS.
