Requirements Manager

Overview: Geodesicx is looking for an experienced Requirements Manager to support the USMC Ground Comms effort. The Requirements Manager role is crucial in defining and managing system requirements for USMC communications systems. This position involves close collaboration with stakeholders to capture, analyze, and manage system requirements, ensuring alignment with USMC and NIWC Atlantic goals. The Requirements Manager ensures that all system developments or enhancements meet the defined needs and standards.

Experience: Candidates for the Requirements Manager position should have a strong background in systems engineering and requirements management. Desired qualifications include:

1. Requirements Analysis: Expertise in eliciting, analyzing, and validating system requirements.
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Strong skills in engaging with stakeholders to understand and document their needs.
3. Documentation: Proficiency in creating detailed requirements specifications and documentation.
4. Change Management: Experience in managing requirement changes and maintaining traceability.
5. Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective team and stakeholder interactions.

The ideal candidate will be adept at bridging the gap between technical possibilities and operational needs, ensuring the delivery of effective and efficient communication systems for the USMC.

Education: High School diploma or GED. Individual shall be working towards the relevant certifications within one and a half year after assuming duties: Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification: Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Applicable s Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), Cloud certifications.
